De laatste maanden horen we meer en meer praten over ‘Augmented Reality’, weinigen zien echter het toekomstig potentieel wat dit te bieden heeft. Wat uitleg en ideeën:
- Augmented Reality op Wikipedia
- Augemented Reality op leerwiki.nl (iets eenvoudiger uitgelegd)
- Augmented Reality in een demonstratiefilm van autoconstructeur BMW (beelden zeggen meer dan woorden!)
- Augmented Reality voor iPhone – enkele voorbeelden (op dit moment zitten we volgens mijn mening nog altijd in een verkennende fase betreft augmented reality op smart-phones, de iPhone leent zich momenteel het beste hiervoor en er zijn enkele specifieke (lokale) programma’s die mogelijk al echt bruikbaar zijn)
- en binnenkort ook op een iPad? (het zal wachten zijn op “iPad 2nd” omdat de nodige camera in de iPad nog niet aanwezig is… de plaats is reeds voorzien maar de camera zit er nog niet in… – it’s only a matter of time!)

Heb je meerdere computers en je wenst graag met 1 toetsenbord en muis te werken? Dit kan… !! En dit met een gratis stukje software “teleport“. Een ’systeemvoorkeur’ dat je op de computers installeert en activeert en vervolgens ga je met de computermuis naar de rand van het scherm… om vervolgens op het andere scherm (van de andere computer) verder te gaan. Nog straffer… neem een bestandje mee en zelfs dat verschijnt mee op de andere computer. Je moet het zien en doen om het te geloven! (Apple-only, Intel-only)

Vroeger gebruikten we een schetsboek of een tekentafel om een idee uit te werken. Kunnen we dit ook digitaal? Zie hier het idee van het programma “Conjure“. Is dit ‘terug naar vroeger’ of een ‘glimp op de toekomst’ als we allemaal touch-screen-computers hebben?
